For patients on mobile devices, your clinic web link will automatically open the VSee Clinic mobile app for patients, with your unique clinic ROOM CODE already pre-populated.
Built-in Intake, Telemedicine Consent
Your VSee Clinic comes with ready-to-go standard intake and telemedicine consent forms for patients to fill out when they enter your waiting room.
Waiting Room + Private Patient Queue
Privately triage patients from your provider dashboard. Easily manage back-to-back calls without worrying about patients interrupting a visit.
Your VSee Clinic Basic plan includes unlimited video calls and secure messaging. You can also
- Bring in family, interpreters, and others with a secure guest invite link
- Simultaneously share and annotate your screens during your video calls.
- Send files by dragging and dropping to a caller’s window
Client data — whether transmitted or stored — is encrypted with 256-bit AES encryption to ensure that your video visits are always secure.
Your basic plan also includes a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) required for HIPAA compliance. More in our FAQ section
VSee Messenger is simply a downloadable secure group video + chat app.
VSee Clinic, on the other hand, is a web-based online waiting room that replicates the waiting room workflow of a physical office. For example, it gives you a permanent webpage you can send to patients and clients to connect with you. When patients and clients enter your waiting room, it collects their name, telemedicine consent, and time of arrival. It will then place them into a wait queue until you are ready to see them. It also keeps a record of all visits. For a more detailed list of VSee Clinic features, please see vsee.com/pricing
Not at this time. Appointment scheduling and online credit card payments are only available in our Enterprise VSee Clinic plan. Please contact a sales representative to build a custom plan with these features
Once you are in a call, VSee gives you a secure guest invite link that can be copied and sent to family, interpreters or others via email, text, etc. While you could theoretically have up to 30 guests in your call that is not what this feature was designed to do. Currently there is no convenient way to start a group call in Basic VSee Clinic. If you are holding group sessions, we recommend using VSee Messenger at this time.
This depends on your EMR and how deep of an integration you need. To get telehealth visits up fast, we recommend you start by using VSee Clinic side by side with your EMR so you get a better feel for your workflow needs.
This depends on which service the provider is using. If the provider is using VSee Messenger only for video visits then the patient should use VSee Messenger. If the provider is using VSee Clinic, then the patient should use VSee Clinic. Please note that currently VSee Clinic only has a mobile app for patients. Also the patients should use VSee Clinic even if the provider is using VSee Messenger in conjunction with their VSee Clinic in order to receive alerts for patient walk-ins.
Basic VSee Clinic is designed for an individual provider. You will need our Enterprise VSee Clinic plan if you would like multiple providers to share a waiting room lobby.
Please see the “Contact A Patient” section of the Basic VSee Clinic Provider manual here for details.
Send your patients to your VSee Clinic web link. When they click “Enter Waiting Room”, they will automatically be prompted to open the VSee Clinic mobile app. The app will automatically fill in your unique room code. This room code may also be found on your VSee Clinic weblink page.
There are 2 parts to consider when providers are looking to be HIPAA-compliant
- Technical – Does your vendor follow HIPAA recommendations for security and privacy?
Yes, VSee uses 256-bit AES encryption to keep patient data secure both at rest and in transmission. We have a breach notification plan and do regular HIPAA security audits and training. We also go through annual HITRUST certification.
- Legal – Does your vendor sign a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with you? (The BAA is a required legal agreement that makes your vendor liable for any breaches of privacy & security according to HIPAA rules)
Yes, VSee signs a HIPAA BAA for all VSee plans except Free VSee Messenger.
